1. Sign up for BitClout.

Copy and save your seed phrase.

Your seed phrase is your password. If you lose it, you will not be able to get into your account, so put it somewhere safe!

Never post your seed phrase!

2. You will need to verify your account using a phone number.

If you don’t want to use your phone number, you can get started by sending at least $60 USD in BTC into your account.

Once your account is verified, @merlin the BitClout ‘Wizard’ will send you some starter BitClout (about $7). This may take up to a week, so if you don’t want to wait, deposit BTC yourself.
