Has the “Great Acceleration” Begun?

Our lives have changed drastically over the past year, but I believe the biggest change is yet to come. In fact, there’s a good chance that the biggest dynamic shift the world has ever seen will take place within the next 90 days.

I am talking about the “metaverse.” And if this sounds absurd, I have news for you:

The metaverse is ALREADY HERE.

It didn’t happen overnight. The infrastructure had been built gradually, and while the concepts might have been a little too “out there” for mass acceptance, the events of 2020 and our shift in culture pushed it over the threshold.

The Covid 19 pandemic forced us to socially distance, and we found new ways to adapt, by pushing into the virtual space even further. We discovered we now had the technology to effectively work from ANYWHERE.

Into this space, blockchain manifests. And it’s accelerating.

In the past few months, we’ve seen growing acceptance of cryptocurrency, nonfungible tokens, and most recently, the growth of a creator economy.
