How you do Anything is How you Do Everything

A person’s thought process tells just as much about them as the decisions they make

I’m less interested in the decisions people make than the thought process they use to make those decisions.

With every interaction I have with people, I am evaluating them. I evaluate their sincerity. I evaluate not only their cognitive ability but their emotional intelligence. Mostly, I’m evaluating their thought process.

If somebody is selling a product, how do I know they are for real? How do I know their product is any good?

Testimony from others? Perhaps. If I trust the people offering testimony, that might have some weight. But that system can always be gamed, and we’ve seen plenty of examples of that.

If a person holds on and digs deeper into conspiracy territory or preconceived “beliefs” to dismiss facts that question a position, I can conclude this person is not interested in performing due diligence, and would rather go down with the ship. This is not useful to me, and it shows a person is more interested in holding…
