Oh man. That sucks. I’m sorry.

I can appreciate somebody who writes about sexuality. Hell, I might even tell them that it generated certain feelings in me — I’d want them to know just how well they communicated, since I’d really appreciate knowing that if I had written the piece.

But that’s as far as it would ever go. A person who writes about sex is not inviting others to HAVE sex with them — unless they explicitly say “I’m looking for someone to have sex with, message me”, and if they do, I’d expect that to be in a different venue.

No, this could be a place where we could all contribute to the conversation, and we can learn and elevate our own lives — IF we can establish that basic courtesy and respect for one another.

I’m sorry that people can’t see the difference, but please don’t stop writing. I appreciate your voice!
