Respectfully, this is terrible advice.

In nearly all cases I’ve seen of people jumping too quickly, the odds of the relationship actually working are very slim.

It pays to take time, to evaluate the relationship, and to really get to know someone. Go on a trip with them. Cohabitate. Let the honeymoon period pass, and you’ll discover many facets that may or not fit — things people purposely avoid facing during the initial excitement.

Those who simply “follow their hearts” and ignore common sense are setting themselves up for disaster.
